Description

Sheltered in a kettle-shaped valley and surrounded by wooded slopes, you find Ronse. Every first Sunday after Whitsun, the procession of Saint Hermes, better known in the area as the Fiertel, takes place. The Hermes route follows the biggest part of the track of this age-old procession. This route leads us around Ronse and includes some hills like the the Hotond. This 150 m high hill is the highest hill of Eastflanders.
