Règlement
RetroRiders can become the 'Ravissantste RetroRondeRenner' and win a prize if:
- He/she rides a racing bike older than 30 years.
- He/she has only gears on the frame or a retro model without gears
- Retro cloths older than 30 years
These cyclists may participate, but are not eligible for ‘Ravissantste RetroRondeRenner’:
- Cyclists with an none authentic outfit but an outfit that looks retro
- Cyclists with any other bike (not a racing bike) which is older than 30 years
- Fixies & singlespeeds with authentic or old-skool look
Mountainbikes and other young bicycles are not allowed.
General Rules
o The RetroRonde is not a competition. There will be no ranking.
o Registration happens only voluntary
o A registration is official if the registration form is filled in entirely and sent to us and if the registration fee (10 euro) is transferred on our bank account or paid at the start (12 euro if not pre-registered). The registration fee includes an insurrance for every participant.
o The participant certifies that he is in a good condition and that he participates volutary.
o The participant has to comply with the trafic regulations.
o The participant has to comply with the instructions of the organization when needed.
o The organization has the right to disqualify a participant and to exclude him from the event if this is necesarry
o Every participant is expected not to damage the environment or someone’s property and not to leave trash.
o The participant is responible for any damage caused by himself, negligence and/or carelessness.
o Any new materials needed for repairs by the technical assistance is paid by the participant.
o The organization, people who work for or in name of the organization is protected from any liability.
o Data of the participants will be saved in a file. This file may be given to a third party for mailings. Participants who raise an objection to this activity by internet or by lettre will not be included in that file.
o The organization has the right to change the track or to cancel the RetroRonde because of extreme weather conditions or other calamities which can give us a reason to cancel the event. There will be no refund in case of cancel.
o Participants agree to the use of portraits, movies, etc for commercial use without claiming a compensation.
o The participant gets a refund if he cancels his or her registration before 24 June 2012. After that date, there will be no refunds granted.
o The participants declares by his or her participation that he or she takes note of these regulations.
o The organization decides in any other circonstances which are not stated in these regulations.
